About Our Educators
Workshop Series
Spring 2026
Sankofa Songs! Inc. is hosting our annual series of Arts Educators Workshops. Join us as we teach, discuss, and reflect on culturally relevant strategies for teaching the arts of the African diaspora. We will explore Africentric music and art education, existing pedagogical tools, creating pedagogical tools, examining relationships with culture-bearers, and more! Music educators will immerse themselves in highly effective teaching, learning, understanding, and participating through Africentic arts education.
